whats up with boxing on hbo. it stinks! lousy fights, sometimes not even a doubleheader and what this is almost may and it is the first after dark card. we even go three weeks or more without any boxing on hbo. unheard of in the past years.

Well, they locked guys into deals, like Wlad Klitschko, and are now stuck with him. Fighters are going for paydays with Showtime, who has had some great shows in the past 2 years. They took a chance with the Toney-Holyfield fight, along with Casamayor-Corrales, and it was great. They seem to be the ones with the competitive fights lately. Maybe not the household names of DLH, Trinidad, or Hopkins, but the solid fighters hardcore fans want to see. Also, im still excited about this ESPN card. I know we all hate to see a solid fight dropped, but lets be honest. We are all fans, and 30 bucks for 3 solid fights?. HBO charged 45 for that Barerra crap last week. 3 fights are better than nothing. Got a feeling Sugar Shane will steal the show. And the main event cant possibly be a boring fight. We just all have to keep positive. ESPN is starting to push this sport again, and im happy about it.

i prefer it when showtime or hbo give us the rare free tripleheader. my gripe is hbo should always give you a doubleheader afterdark and championsip boxing. lately more and more they give us a single fight.
